NEW! How you can make your stay more authentic, sustainable and memorable

These tips provide the insider’s knowledge on how travelers can engage with local culture, make their vacations more memorable, promote sustainability in the region, and enhance their overall holiday experience.

  • St Barths are especially fun during the Music Festival taking place in January where artists of international renown perform Jazz and chamber music concerts in the churches of Gustavia and Lorient.
  • St Barths is filled with great upscale restaurants, and one of the great dining spots we recommend is Maya’s, which gets full with visitors during the high season yet it has a relaxed setting and serves homey, locally sourced food.
  • Sparkling Voyages also recommends visiting Saint Barth’s recently constructed fish market, which opens at 6:30 am on the waterfront close the entrance to Gustavia. Here, travelers will find local fishermen presenting a diversity of fresh fish and shellfish that just came from the sea.
Please Note: Time restrictions and extra charges may apply for some activities, watersports or facilities. Some restaurants may be open for certain meals only, have a dress code in effect and/or require reservations. While Sparkling Voyages makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information contained herein, it cannot be held responsible for changes, omissions or errors.
